Project Proposal

Before a manufacturing process goes into implementation, a project proposal is put forth so that the pros and cons of the project can be determined and be dealt with accordingly.
 

A project proposal includes the details of a product line involving use of specific material and process technology combinations.

A project proposal enumerates the following:
 

• Advantages of the product or process to the end customer
• Project goals
• Project specifications which are tied to the project goals and the compatibility between the specification and the available materials.
• Time schedule depicting weekly progress and workflow
• Cost analysis
